Compass Box Great King Street Glasgow Blend Blended Scotch Whisky is a full-bodied and flavor-packed expression inspired by the golden age of blending at the turn of the 20th century. Crafted from approximately 67% single malts from the Highland, Speyside, and Islay regions, and 33% Lowland grain whisky, this blend is aged in a combination of first-fill Sherry casks, first-fill and refill ex-Bourbon barrels, with a small portion finished in new French oak casks. On the nose, it offers aromas of sherry, wine, and faint peat. The palate delivers rich flavors of oak, peat, dried fruit, and mixed nuts, leading to a long finish with lingering notes of peat and sherry. Bottled at 43% ABV, this whisky is non-chill filtered and naturally colored, embodying the rich spice and fruitcake-like notes of Sherry cask aging combined with the maritime punch of Islay malt whisky.
